Our staff knows the applicable standards, environmental regulations, regulating agency license application and approval process, applicable electrical and building codes, and Next Generation 911 systems that impact 911 centers. We have worked on over 40 PSAP design, construction, and integration projects and with architectural firms that are typically responsible for the building design meeting the local, state, and federal environmental regulations, regulating agency license application and approval process, and applicable electrical and building codes. We have worked extensively with National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) 1221 and other key standards that guide the design of mission-critical facilities such as 9-1-1 centers.
In particular, we have designed and integrated two of the Washington, DC region’s preeminent communications and coordination operations centers: in the District of Columbia and Fairfax County, VA.
