The State of Nebraska contracted for a statewide NG911 system and ESInet to support the delivery of calls to the ECCS in the southeast Nebraska region. This required a migration strategy for the ECCs the Southeast 911 Board serves. The RFP included soliciting and selecting a vendor solution allowing for the transition from Legacy to NG911 for the entire Southeast 911 Region, including consideration of hardware, networking, virtual security, and data center placement. This included alternatives for hosting the A/B side call handling platforms and identifying bandwidth requirements for each of the ECCs.
